HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN WE BOOK? We welcome your booking, the more organised the better! Please be aware that prices are subject to change, based on proximity to the event
CAN WE DO A SITE VISIT We are more than happy to accommodate site visits between Monday–Saturday during working hours (09.00–17.30), subject to availability. Please get in touch with our team directly to book your site visit at thekitchenandbar@gmail.com
CAN WE MIX AND MATCH THE MENUS? Please select one cuisine style from the package. We’re happy to make adjustments for guests with dietary requirements.
DO YOU CATER FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES? Yes, our chef team are well trained and more than happy to cater for any guests with dietary or allergen needs; however, our kitchen may contain traces of allergens
DO YOU USE NUTS IN YOUR KITCHEN? Nuts are used in our kitchen, and trace amounts may be present
DO YOU OFFER A VEGAN OPTION? Yes, our Vegetarian Buffet is vegan
CAN WE SUPPLY OUR OWN FOOD? You are most welcome to bring your own celebration cake, however we do not allow any other food to be brought onto the premises. We have a range of menu choices available on our website
CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN ALCOHOL? We’ve got you covered! If there’s a special bottle you want that we don’t have, we can pre-order it. Just prepay for pre-ordered bottles, and we’ll make sure any unopened ones go home with you
CAN WE USE OUR OWN FURNITURE SUPPLIERS? We have a selection of handpicked accredited suppliers, if you want to use your own suppliers we require their PLI and PAT testing paperwork
IS THERE PARKING ONSITE? There is ample, and it’s free!
CAN I HAVE CONFETTI AT MY WEDDING? We are doing our best to be the kind to the environment, please only use dried flower petals
DO YOU ALLOW CANDLES: We cannot allow naked flames, with one exception - your birthday cake candles. Some traditions are worth keeping
I HAVE A WEDDING PLANNER. HOW DOES THAT WORK WITH THE LOFT’S EVENT TEAM? This is wonderful! We strongly recommend having a Planner involved to assist in planning your special day. We can't wait to hear more about your wedding plans! Do introduce us to your Wedding Planner and we can assist them with any questions they might have.
DO YOU SUPPLY THE TABLES AND CHAIRS? Yes "The Loft" Hire fee includes use of our tables, chairs, as well as table glassware, cutlery and crockery.
WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR TABLES? Our rectangular tables are 0.75m x 1.5m and our circular tables are 5ft round.
DO YOU SUPPLY THE TABLECLOTHS? We do have tablecloths available to hire, for our 5ft rectangular tables £9.50 for white, £7.50 for black, per table cloth.
CAN OUR FRIEND DJ FOR US? You are welcome to have your own DJ and entertainment however please be aware that all businesses are to share their up to date Public Liability Insurance with us, as well as any PAT testing certificates for their electrical equipment if they will be using our electrics
DO YOU HAVE A SOUND LIMITER? No we do not
DO YOU HAVE A STAGE? We don’t, but they do look great, these can be hired
CAN WE SET UP BEFORE OUR EVENT TIME? Unfortunately due to regular events taking place in ‘The Loft’ every day of the week, we are unable to allow setting up before the event unless there is availability to do so. If so, this will usually incur an additional cost. I.e. for morning set up for an evening party, you may be charged for the full day hire as we will not be able to sell the space during that time.
