Hours: 45 hours over 5 days (Day time) including some weekends (day and evening)

Shifts: Flexible but including evenings and weekends

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Pension: 5% Employer contribution with additional 2.5% available

The Kitchen & Bar at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground has opened applications for the role of Chef.

We’re on the hunt for a passionate and talented Chef to join our dynamic team at The Kitchen & Bar — Serving the local community and lots of sports people of all ages being Bicester's reimagined Clubhouse.

The ideal candidate will be motivated and passionate about continuing the business success as well as a desire to drive the business forward and maximise business opportunities .

We are looking for a talented, energetic and experienced individual who will work closely with the owners of the business to drive and develop a much loved business at the heart of the local community. About the Role:

As our Chef, you’ll take the lead in crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that leave a lasting impression. Whether it’s a busy weekend service or a quiet weekday lunch, you’ll bring consistency, flair, and flavour to every plate.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Creating and preparing dishes to a high standard

Working closely with the Owner on menu development

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen

Managing stock levels and ensuring minimal waste

Leading or supporting junior kitchen team as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment

A genuine passion for food and hospitality

Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Creative flair and an eye for detail

The Kitchen & Bar at Whitelands is a family run independent café, bar and Event Space based in Bicester overlooking Whitelands Farm Sports Grounds. We opened in October 2022 and pride ourselves on locally sourced hand roasted coffee, homemade cakes and our famous homemade Sausage rolls. We are the home of many local sports teams and our facility boasts an all weather 3G as well as three grass football pitches and two floodlit rugby pitches along with a large junior training area. We often have up to 10 home fixtures over the weekend.
